State police ask for help locating missing Blue Hill woman

Jessica Grindle of Blue Hill was reported missing on August 22 and police are asking the public for help in locating her.

Jessica Grindle, 37, of Blue Hill was reported missing on August 22 and the Maine State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating her.

Grindle had not been seen by friends since July 23, according to information from the Maine State Police. Initial attempts to appeal to the public for assistance yielded “some tips,” and searches have also taken place “on or near two ponds in the area—First Pond, also known as Billings Pond in Blue Hill, and Frost Pond in Sedgwick.

According to MSP, Grindle is 5’3” tall and weighs 150 pounds. She has blue eyes and brown hair. Anyone with information on Grindle or her whereabouts is asked to call the State Police in Bangor at 973-3700.
