HEATING OIL BIDS
Town of Stonington requests bids for the supply of heating oil to town buildings through June 2011. The town's annual average consumption is more than 15,000 gallons. Details available at Town Office, 367-2351. Bids are requested by Mon., Sep. 13, 2010, at 4 p.m. Selectmen may reject any or all bids at their sole discretion.
INVITATION TO BID
The Blue Hill School Committee is seeking bids to repair miscellaneous catch basin areas and bridge abutments. Work is to start as soon as possible after the awarding of the bid and is to be completed in the month of September 2010. Specifications and the required bid form is available at the Superintendent of Schools Office, 20 Hinckley Ridge Road, P.O. Box 630, Blue Hill, Maine 04614. If interested, please call 374-9927 for a copy of the specifications. Prospective bidders shall visit with Della Martin, Principal of the Blue Hill Consolidated School, to review the particular areas. Bids, which must be returned in sealed envelopes marked "Bid for Repair of Miscellaneous Catch Basin Areas and Bride Abutments - BHCS," are due at the Superintendent s Office on or before Tue, Sep. 7, 2010, at 3 p.m. Bids will be opened and recorded at the Wed., Sep. 8, 2010 meeting of the Blue Hill Consolidated School Committee which will be held at the Blue Hill Consolidated School at 5 p.m. The Blue Hill Consolidated School Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
LOBSTER CAR CONSTRUCTION BID
The Stonington Lobster Co-op is seeking bids for the construction of a lobster car. The bid should be based on the dimensions of the existing lobster car, which can be viewed at Co-op 2. Deadline for bids is Wed., Sep. 8 at 4 p.m. Management reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
WINTER SAND BIDS
Town of Stonington requests bids for supplying 1,800 yards of sand, with mounding and thorough salt mixing with both new and old sand. Sand must meet state DOT specifications.
