CSD 13 Superintendent’s Report Archive
To help voters see a historical perspective on the budget process of Community School District 13, Penobscot Bay Press is providing the Superintendent’s Reports for the past five years online. The reports were originally published as special sections in the Island Ad-Vantages newspaper around the time the towns of Deer Isle and Stonington were required to vote on a budget for the next year. We now provide this archive at a similar time.

Along with the reports we are also providing analysis of data from the past years’ enrollment reports and budgets. The budget data has been adjusted for inflation using a Consumer Price Index calculator provided by the U.S. Department of Labor. Our hope is that these data will help demonstrate trends in education here on the island.
